Polo returns to Niagara-on-the-Lake
After an outstanding 2014 event, polo returns to the Commons in Niagara-on-the-Lake on Saturday, September 10th, hosted by the Niagara Historical Society & Museum.
Enjoy two four-chukker games with players from the Toronto Polo Club and traditional divot stomp with bubbly. Our very own George Dell will be announcing during games.
At half time the NRP Pipe Band performs. Check out the display of luxury and historic vehicles. Browse the vendor tent for Niagara Polo, local merchant and artisan products.
Admission is $15 (free for children under 12).
Gates open at 11 am. The first game starts just after noon. Bring a chair, a big hat and experience the Sport of Kings!
Local wines and beers (Oast, Silversmith, Exchange) and great food from PigOut, the Rotary Club, Willow Cakes and Il Gelato di Carlotta will be available.
For a more elegant experience, VIP dining is available under a field-side marquee. Tables of 8 are $2000 (tax receipt of $100 per person). For those who can't fill a table, sit at the Lord Mayor’s Table with Pat Darte for $275 ($125 tax receipt).
Or new this year, reserve a field-side table with chairs for your group of 8 in the “BeauChapeau Lounge”. $200 includes 8 entrance tickets and a reserved table. Bring your own picnic or buy from the vendors. No outside alcohol. Space is limited.
All event proceeds will support the Museum's work in preserving, collecting and displaying the Town's unique history and the future growth of the Museum.
